1. General Store Policies & Medicine Verification
Customer satisfaction and safety are our top priorities. To ensure accuracy and avoid any discrepancies:
- Verification at the Counter: Customers must check and match the number of medicines, their batch numbers, and expiry dates at the time of collecting the medicine from the shop counter. We hold no liability for discrepancies reported after the medicines have been taken away from the shop premises.
2. Offline Purchases & Return Policy
We understand that medical requirements can change. For offline purchases made directly at our physical store, the following return policy applies:
- 30-Day Return Window: We accept returns for medicines purchased offline within 30 days from the date of billing.
- Original Bill is Mandatory: You must carry and present the original printed bill at the time of return. No returns will be accepted without the original bill.
- Mobile Number Requirement: A valid mobile number must be provided at the time of billing. Returns are only applicable if your mobile number was registered during the initial purchase.
- Condition of Medicines: Returned medicines must be intact, unsealed (if applicable), and in their original packaging. Medicines requiring strict temperature control (like vaccines or insulin) or loose strips/tablets may not be eligible for returns as per standard pharmacy safety guidelines.
3. Future Online Shop & E-Commerce
When our online ordering system and e-commerce shop become fully available, your use of the site to place orders constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Services. Additional terms specific to online payments, home delivery, and online returns will be updated and made applicable at that time.
4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the local laws of West Bengal, India, and the guidelines set forth by the Pharmacy Council of India and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of West Bengal.
5. Changes to Terms
Hayat Pharmacy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. By continuing to use the website or our services after such amendments, you agree to be bound by the modified terms.
